Linus Borre charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Sven-Oskar Bröms received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC BOSNA getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Eleuterio Endira hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Germany's Frank Sachs in action when he in the 21st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 28 minutes FC BOSNA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frank Sachs who took care of the corner kick. 30 minutes into the game, FC BOSNA's Sven-Oskar Bröms nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Kilman, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Germany's attentive Willy Stieler managed to snatch the ball when Linus Borre made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. If Johannes Kilman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

A very good chance. The supporters of Germany booed when FC BOSNA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Endira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Freddie Albäck fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC BOSNA's protests and gave Freddie Albäck a yellow card for diving instead. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Kilman in the 71st minute of play. Rolf Rothberg ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th minute, Freddie Albäck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC BOSNA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
