Ailton Flores's late challenge caught a Czech Republic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ailton Flores helped the player get up and apologised. Afonso Amado scored 2-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vavrinec Holub, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Desert Fury booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kvetoslav Janku didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Afonso Amado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 25th play minutes Afonso Amado shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Vavrinec Holub and just under the crossbar into goal. If Nuno Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Bohumir Kohout got a free kick in the 29th minute. Afonso Amado had several of the Czech Republic's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 37 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Vavrinec Holub as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 39 played minutes Desert Fury got a freekick which was hit by Custódio Lando. 5-0 became the score in the 41st minute when Nuno Ramos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Vavrinec Holub made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeu Flores in the 47th minute. The supporters of Desert Fury booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Rusil didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Dostal in the 53rd minute of play forced Desert Fury's goalkeeper Nuno Dikaté to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Afonso Amado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Eduardo Ganete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Afonso Amado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vavrinec Holub was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Vavrinec Holub stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afonso Amado's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute Afonso Amado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Dostal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Dikaté having to interfere. After some careless play in the Czech Republic defense, Afonso Amado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. The Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavrinec Holub should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute Erik Jilek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Dikaté saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Bohumir Kohout hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vavrinec Holub seemed to really have strength and confidence after that save. After 83 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Kvetoslav Janku. Teodoro Maurito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Vavrinec Holub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Afonso Amado put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vavrinec Holub. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Desert Fury had played much better football throughout.
