The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zenon Czech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Guetta in the 6th minute of play. Miklós Madaras made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lech Sidorowicz in the 8th minute. Dániel Bódi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenon Czech having to interfere. MLKS Znicz Biała Piska's Zenon Czech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukács Pucheli in the 11th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Komlói Bányász SK's corner Koppány Harsányi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zenon Czech quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the MLKS Znicz Biała Piska defense, Dániel Bódi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zenon Czech. The MLKS Znicz Biała Piska fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zenon Czech should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Dániel Bódi notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of MLKS Znicz Biała Piska's Zenon Czech. Zenon Czech was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute, David Guetta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miklós Madaras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Dolfo in the 24th minute of play. Miklós Madaras made an important save on a dangerous shot by Szymon Moczkiewicz in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Komlói Bányász SK's David Guetta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zenon Czech narrowly saved just below the crossbar. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jakab Bauer to make the kick off. When Albert Lőrincz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 53 minutes had been played. In the 54th match minute, Komlói Bányász SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Lőrincz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Komlói Bányász SK booed when MLKS Znicz Biała Piska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Ludwiczak didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Koppány Harsányi came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Komlói Bányász SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Koppány Harsányi couldn't finish the play. Komlói Bányász SK were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after MLKS Znicz Biała Piska's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Koppány Harsányi took the corner. The Komlói Bányász SK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Komlói Bányász SK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
