Dário Veríssimo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vennard Sundoro in the 3rd minute of play. Vennard Sundoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Dário Veríssimo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10thth minute of the game Frans Toussain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC's Dário Veríssimo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Bóas Bolas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeki Özgenc charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zeki Özgenc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC's Zeki Özgenc got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, f.c. sKRotone's Peppe Bamba tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 26th match minute, f.c. sKRotone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ştefan Mârzac to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th match minute, f.c. sKRotone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Vasco to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Hottiger in the 31st minute of play forced f.c. sKRotone's goalkeeper Dan Focșa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinícius Junior kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frans Toussain came free, but Dário Veríssimo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC's Dário Veríssimo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Toussain in the 43rd minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frederico Salazar to make the kick off. Dário Veríssimo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frans Toussain's shot from short distance in the 50th minute. After having played for 54 minutes, Frans Toussain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. f.c. sKRotone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frans Toussain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dan Focșa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinícius Junior in the 57th minute of the match. Dário Veríssimo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vennard Sundoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fazıl Korkutalp in the 79th minute of play forced f.c. sKRotone's goalkeeper Dan Focșa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The f.c. sKRotone fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when f.c. sKRotone's Frans Toussain looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 85 played minutes ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC got a freekick which was hit by Vinícius Junior. The supporters of f.c. sKRotone booed when ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinícius Junior didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frederico Salazar in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Focșa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle went the supporters of f.c. sKRotone were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC side.
