Miklós Madaras made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Kellbom in the 6th minute. Dániel Bódi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janne Oblak having to interfere. In the 9th match minute, LeicestersKickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Engman to maneuver through the defense. Janne Oblak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakab Bauer, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Miklós Madaras made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Rigoberto Paredes sent off a good shot on target. LeicestersKickers's John Kellbom was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 21st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 24 played minutes LeicestersKickers got a freekick which was hit by André Zander. David Guetta struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Janne Oblak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Komlói Bányász SK. Janne Oblak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dániel Bódi, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. When Komlói Bányász SK's Béla Balázs in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. LeicestersKickers's supporters rose to their feet, but John Kellbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miklós Madaras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jakab Bauer to make the kick off. Janne Oblak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakab Bauer in the 51st minute of play. After 52 minutes LeicestersKickers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Koppány Harsányi who took care of the corner kick. In the 56th minute Dániel Bódi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janne Oblak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Albert Lőrincz fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Komlói Bányász SK's protests and gave Albert Lőrincz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of LeicestersKickers booed when Komlói Bányász SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Lőrincz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dániel Bódi in the 63rd minute of play forced LeicestersKickers's goalkeeper Janne Oblak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Komlói Bányász SK's goal looked a bit too open when John Kellbom came free, but Miklós Madaras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Komlói Bányász SK's Janne Oblak threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dániel Bódi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to LeicestersKickers getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Macho Mann hit a great ball. LeicestersKickers made a substitution. Hampus Dahlman replaced Sebastian Engman. Komlói Bányász SK's Mihály Benke was substituted for Béla Balázs. Macho Mann hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Kiki Monginsidi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Janne Oblak came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Komlói Bányász SK's Ádám Bíró. But to his dismay, Ádám Bíró quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Miklós Madaras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Åke Vedholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
