After 7 minutes Sabalero's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Hungary's Hegedus Henrik to fire away a dangerous shot which Emilio Bibiano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Roman Jacob came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fodor Daniel could save by the left post. After 17 played minutes Sabalero got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Marino. 22 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roman Jacob. Sabalero's Emilio Bibiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 24th minute of play. Balazs Lajos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Emilio Bibiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Bibiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilio Bibiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emilio Bibiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Sabalero's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Takacs Tibor hit a great ball. Roman Jacob struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sabalero. In the 45th minute, Antal Valentin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emilio Bibiano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisito Marino was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Takacs Tibor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Bibiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Hungary booed when Sabalero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Cibran didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Sabalero's goalkeeper Emilio Bibiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. With a little luck, Sabalero's Emilio Bibiano got control of the ball when Balazs Lajos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 61 minutes, Isaias Abad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabalero and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. Takacs Tibor scored 0-4 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilio Bibiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Sabalero's Ermegildo Cibran got a free kick in the 72nd minute. During the 74th minute of the match Isaias Abad completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Isaias Abad a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Sabalero getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Isaias Abad hit a great ball. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Bibiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Sabalero's Luisito Marino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermegildo Cibran's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermegildo Cibran helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hungary booed when Sabalero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Cibran didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Emilio Bibiano in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emilio Bibiano, 0-5. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
