After having played for 19 minutes, Müjdat Öktürk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kahyaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Müjdat Öktürk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Emil Seidler. In the 23rd minute, Zafer Pınar made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 32nd minute, Zafer Pınar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zafer Pınar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Fabio Auer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Kahyaspor got a freekick which was hit by Özbek Çırağ. In the 37th match minute, Kahyaspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Günalp Akcebe to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Austria's Sandro Galishoff sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Altan Serdengeçti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Altan Serdengeçti came out of the goal and Fabio Schneider tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Leonhard Maier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fabio Schneider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berker Ekvan, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Günalp Akcebe in the 91st minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Kahyaspor were the better team. Kahyaspor's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
