When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sandro Galishoff made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Schneider. If Rayan Blaize had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Athéna booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marvin Harrer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94thth minute of the game Jérémie Boix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Austria's Fabio Auer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Austria's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
