Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mariano Pavone took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Baltasar Alfonso came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Merced AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Alfonso couldn't finish the play. José Carlos Damiãos short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Isaias Hug to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 12 minutes, Cosme Filipo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Merced AFC and the Fortin FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Fortin FC booed when Merced AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Filipo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Merced AFC's Baltasar Alfonso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isaias Hug made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Salvador Lazcano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthar Mhenni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anthar Mhenni in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salvador Lazcano saved Merced AFC from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, Mariano Pavone had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Salvador Lazcano. Merced AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Pavone was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 37thth minute of the game Mariano Pavone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merced AFC's Salvador Lazcano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Elvio Hitzeder notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Merced AFC's Salvador Lazcano. Salvador Lazcano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Merced AFC! A collision led to Fortin FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Albino Oalo hit a great ball. Cosme Filipo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Carlos Damião made a kick off. Salvador Lazcano was a little too slow when Mariano Pavone got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 1-5. José Carlos Damião's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaias Hug read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Pavone got free with Salvador Lazcano in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Merced AFC's Salvador Lazcano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Merced AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 64th match minute, Fortin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavi Simons to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Merced AFC's Salvador Lazcano got control of the ball when Anthar Mhenni tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Elvio Hitzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Pavone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Salvador Lazcano made a huge save. 73 minutes into the game, Mariano Pavone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Salvador Lazcano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 82nd match minute, Fortin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Oalo to maneuver through the defense. Fortin FC made a substitution. Cleto Marquez replaced Luciano Eguen. After a rather tough play, Fortin FC's Albino Oalo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Isaias Hug took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roch Rywin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th match minute, Merced AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Palban to maneuver through the defense. Anthar Mhenni's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Salvador Lazcano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fortin FC played a much better game than Merced AFC and deserved their victory. The Merced AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
