In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leones Futbol Club's goalkeeper Mauricio Guillelmus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in GUTIERREZ SC's zone, Eustacio Amaya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Soter came out of the goal and Eustacio Amaya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Soter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Berdoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herbert Lizewski in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauricio Guillelmus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th match minute, Leones Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Frisco to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute Abel Etor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Guillelmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, GUTIERREZ SC's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Berdoi came free, but David Soter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Soter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Berdoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abel Etor made a kick off. David Soter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Berdoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Abel Etor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Iraunkor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Soter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. David Soter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lázaro Berdoi went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Mauricio Guillelmus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Etor, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 79 minutes into the game, Leones Futbol Club's Lázaro Berdoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Soter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Mauricio Guillelmus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Lizewski in the 84th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Herbert Lizewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauricio Guillelmus was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. A collision led to GUTIERREZ SC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Eduardo Soriano hit a great ball. David Soter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Berdoi in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Leones Futbol Club walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
