Moise Vlădean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Styrbjörn Stokken made a huge save. In the 19th minute, Lambis Kazantzakoglou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moise Vlădean did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Styrbjörn Stokken 22 minutes into the match. Ysmael Marfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lambis Kazantzakoglou in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, DINAMO's Petru Avramescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Styrbjörn Stokken narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of GREEK ARMY booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorin Agârbiceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vassilis Lazarakis in the 32nd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Vrasidas Drambas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ysmael Marfil quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 34 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Demian. DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lambis Kazantzakoglou in the 36th minute of play. Lambis Kazantzakoglou might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ysmael Marfil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lambis Kazantzakoglou ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute Lambis Kazantzakoglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Dorin Agârbiceanu hit a great ball. Lambis Kazantzakoglou took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ysmael Marfil. Ysmael Marfil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ryszard Borcz was the one to do the kick off. Styrbjörn Stokken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Vlădean in the 51st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Moise Vlădean's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Styrbjörn Stokken was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Vassilis Lazarakis took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ysmael Marfil. Ysmael Marfil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Styrbjörn Stokken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryszard Borcz, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Styrbjörn Stokken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petru Avramescu in the 67th minute of play. With his leg Ysmael Marfil managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when GREEK ARMY's Grigoris Karagiotakis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Styrbjörn Stokken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moise Vlădean in the 70th minute of the match. Ysmael Marfil made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Lambis Kazantzakoglou sent off a good shot on target. GREEK ARMY were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after DINAMO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vlassis Mellios took the corner. Vlassis Mellios made a great header on GREEK ARMY's corner, it was just that DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 85th minute, Petru Avramescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, GREEK ARMY's goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Borcz came free, but Styrbjörn Stokken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Dorin Agârbiceanu got a free kick in the 89th minute. With his leg Ysmael Marfil managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when GREEK ARMY's Lambis Kazantzakoglou fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. GREEK ARMY had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
