Though ot was a great shot Furuvik IK's keeper Simon Sjödin was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 13 minutes into the match, Furuvik IK's goal looked a bit too open when Spyros Paterakis came free, but Simon Sjödin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grigoris Karagiotakis in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Sjödin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 13 minutes, Grigoris Karagiotakis made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Furuvik IK's Simon Sjödin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Simon Sjödin managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when GREEK ARMY's Antonis Nikopolidis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Furuvik IK's Simon Sjödin got control of the ball when Grigoris Karagiotakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Grigoris Karagiotakis succeeded in the game's 26th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. In the 28th match minute, GREEK ARMY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigoris Karagiotakis to maneuver through the defense. David Stockdale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. GREEK ARMY's attentive Antonis Nikopolidis managed to snatch the ball when Bengt-Rune Strandberg made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. GREEK ARMY's attack was well implemented in the 40th minute, but when Grigoris Karagiotakis was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 42 minutes into the match, Furuvik IK's goalkeeper Simon Sjödin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Spyros Paterakis. After 46 minutes of play, GREEK ARMY's Grigoris Karagiotakis made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simon Sjödin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Börge Tillman made a kick off. Simon Sjödin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigoris Karagiotakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Simon Sjödin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigoris Karagiotakis in the 56th minute of the match. Ksawery Gall's late challenge caught a Furuvik IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Sjödin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grigoris Karagiotakis's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Furuvik IK's Simon Sjödin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigoris Karagiotakis in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Carl Eriksson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Furuvik IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. In the 68th minute Carl Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Stockdale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Sjödin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigoris Karagiotakis in the 87th minute of play. David Stockdale made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Börge Tillman sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigoris Karagiotakis in the 92nd minute of play forced Furuvik IK's goalkeeper Simon Sjödin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Sjödin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigoris Karagiotakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Spyros Paterakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. GREEK ARMY's supporters rose to their feet, but Spyros Paterakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Sjödin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Börge Tillman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Stockdale having to interfere. GREEK ARMY walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
