Styrbjörn Stokken dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, G2O's goal looked a bit too open when Vassilis Lazarakis came free, but Ivan Lupea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Vassilis Lazarakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ivan Lupea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vassilis Lazarakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivan Lupea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lambis Kazantzakoglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Styrbjörn Stokken made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Sánchez Alcano sent off a good shot on target. Lambis Kazantzakoglou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Lupea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, GREEK ARMY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasper Elssen to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Lambis Kazantzakoglou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Lupea was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Sánchez Alcano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Styrbjörn Stokken read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Zuzen Gama could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Styrbjörn Stokken made a huge save. Ksawery Gall kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sánchez Alcano in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Styrbjörn Stokken prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sánchez Alcano to make the kick off. GREEK ARMY's Lambis Kazantzakoglou got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sánchez Alcano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to GREEK ARMY getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Vassilis Lazarakis hit a great ball. In the 61st minute Zuzen Gama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Styrbjörn Stokken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Zuzen Gama had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Styrbjörn Stokken. GREEK ARMY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zuzen Gama was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 70th minute G2O were awarded a corner. Tomas Espindola went to the cornerflag to take it. With a little luck, G2O's Ivan Lupea got control of the ball when Vassilis Lazarakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Espindola made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by GREEK ARMY's Grigoris Karagiotakis. In the 76th minute, Vrasidas Drambas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Styrbjörn Stokken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Espindola in the 81st minute of the match. Norberto Escanciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Styrbjörn Stokken having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Norberto Escanciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. G2O's Ivan Lupea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasper Elssen in the 89th minute of play. When Lambis Kazantzakoglou came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the GREEK ARMY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lambis Kazantzakoglou couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the G2O players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
