An unexpectedly hard shot by Alba Feliu in the 10th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Lars Meesters. Ahsoka Team's Gabon Guasch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, one of Netherlands:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Netherlands. When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, Ahsoka Team's Bihar Reborio got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Arnout Reekers. Agustín Tobias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ahsoka Team's zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabon Guasch came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 56th minute Agustín Tobias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4-0 came in the 58th minute when Mergildo Jauregui all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Wim Wilmes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabon Guasch having to make a save. 67 minutes into the match, Ahsoka Team's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Gabon Guasch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 minutes Ahsoka Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Ahsoka Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bihar Reborio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 played minutes, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gabon Guasch came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Netherlands reached it. 75 minutes into the game, Gust Ennemans threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ahsoka Team's Godfredo Menendez quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Godfredo Menendez's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Menendez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Ahsoka Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Menendez to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the game, one of Ahsoka Team:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gust Ennemans hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Ahsoka Team were victorious despite being under pressure from Netherlands for much of the match.
