Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nafiz Revis took the kick off in the first half of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Güvenç Taşan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Avni Tandoruk could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Arnout Reekers however easily saved by the left post. 19 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Ye Sang came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor got a free kick in the 20th minute. Güvenç Taşan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 23rd minute. Hatayspor's Güvenç Taşan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 31st minute of play. Lars Meesters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güvenç Taşan having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Hatayspor's Baskın Türker tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Güvenç Taşan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Eikelkamp in the 39th minute of play. Ye Sang struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hatayspor. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Ye Sang tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hatayspor's Çağrı Kaim got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Özbek Utman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Güvenç Taşan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Nafiz Revis came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Ye Sang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Akif Civanmert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Güvenç Taşan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute Ye Sang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ye Sang in the 65th minute of the match. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Hatayspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Süleyman Aksun didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hatayspor's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Güvenç Taşan came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Nafiz Revis came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Güvenç Taşan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Lars Meesters put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Güvenç Taşan. If Ye Sang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hatayspor booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Eikelkamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Çağrı Kaim hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ye Sang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 played minutes Hatayspor got a freekick which was hit by Özbek Utman. In the 89th minute, Baskın Türker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Nafiz Revis made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Netherlands players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
