Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kyle Cox in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erland Österberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erland Österberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Cox, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Juhlin in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, England's Caelan Hayes got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Macoma Yoldia made a substitution. Filiph Öberg replaced Jairo de Andrade. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Cox in the 48th minute of play forced Macoma Yoldia's goalkeeper Erland Österberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyle Cox was the one to do the kick off. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sakarias Asklöv helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave England a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Micah Macdonald, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Macoma Yoldia's Erland Österberg. 0-2.
