If Vintilă Bădescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 5 minutes into the match, Dacian Jurăscu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Modlau's Lukasz Traczewski. Lukasz Traczewski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ovidiu Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima in the 11th minute of the match. Aurel Lăceanu kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, FC Cosula-BTF-'s goal looked a bit too open when Zlatin Ibrahimović came free, but Ovidiu Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Modlau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Modlau booed when FC Cosula-BTF- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilian Bădila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldemar Borcz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ovidiu Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidiu Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zlatin Ibrahimović, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Zlatin Ibrahimović managed to get in a good position for a shot. Modlau's supporters rose to their feet, but Zlatin Ibrahimović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidiu Marin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ovidiu Marin got control of the ball when Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dacian Jurăscu's late challenge caught a Modlau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dacian Jurăscu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Modlau booed when FC Cosula-BTF- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidiu Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Dacian Jurăscu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Lukasz Traczewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergiu Lăzărescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Modlau's Lukasz Traczewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dacian Jurăscu in the 63rd minute of play. Ovidiu Marin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zlatin Ibrahimović went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Jurăscu in the 72nd minute of play forced Modlau's goalkeeper Lukasz Traczewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 minutes of play, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Dacian Jurăscu made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lukasz Traczewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd match minute, Modlau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radowit Mondrowski to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Sergiu Lăzărescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Cosula-BTF-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Sergiu Lăzărescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lukasz Traczewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Modlau getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Walery Rekawiczka hit a great ball. Emilian Bădila kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, FC Cosula-BTF-'s goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima came free, but Ovidiu Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidiu Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima in the 94th minute of play. Vintilă Bădescu hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Cosula-BTF- had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
