The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After taking down the ball on SS SuperSonics's corner Antoni Jaktorowo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benedykt Niemoj quite easily take care of the ball. After 16 played minutes SS SuperSonics got a freekick which was hit by Radoslaw Karaszkiewicz. 17 minutes into the game, Zachary Przebendowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fifth Chicken's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SS SuperSonics the free kick. In the 17th minute, Zachary Przebendowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bambang Bamba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Benedykt Niemoj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 minutes Fifth Chicken's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antoni Jaktorowo who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Bogumil Misiorowski managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Bambang Bamba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedykt Niemoj read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Hugon Lenertej made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Kolba in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Fifth Chicken's goal looked a bit too open when Bambang Bamba came free, but Benedykt Niemoj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedykt Niemoj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bambang Bamba, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Korneliusz Panasewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bambang Bamba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Korneliusz Panasewicz to make the kick off. In the 64th minute, Bambang Bamba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
