The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nwakego Usideme hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthimos Sofos in the 10th minute of play. Anthimos Sofos scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Eriberto de Castro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eriberto de Castro got free with Tommy Kahn in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute of the match FC GreenWhiteGreen got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oddy Kamuche ran over to the corner to take the kick. Oddy Kamuche made a great header on FC GreenWhiteGreen's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. Tommy Kahn had great luck who in the 33rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Anthimos Sofos from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Eriberto de Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. Aminu Taiwo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frank Sachs showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 51 minute of play. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthimos Sofos in the 54th minute of play. Aminu Taiwo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aminu Taiwo made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthimos Sofos in the 71st minute of the match. Aminu Taiwo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The supporters of Germany booed when FC GreenWhiteGreen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oddy Kamuche didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthimos Sofos in the 95th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the FC GreenWhiteGreen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
