Cidry Rojca's supporters rose to their feet, but Radowit Szkarpiak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fredric Hansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fredric Hansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Zagrodny in the 10th minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nick Farrugia was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Meerkats FC's Martin Rapinett ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emil Niedziela. Emil Niedziela yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 58th minute, Janusz Fronczak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeo Darmanin got free with Emil Niedziela in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the game, Mike Flask recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emil Niedziela. Mike Flask showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The supporters of Meerkats FC booed when Cidry Rojca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janusz Fronczak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 minutes Cidry Rojca's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robert Portanier who took care of the corner kick. 74 minutes into the match, Cidry Rojca's goalkeeper Emil Niedziela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vincent Callus.
