A collision led to FK TEPLICE STARS getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Jiří Mertlík hit a great ball. In the 9th match minute, FK TEPLICE STARS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vlastimil Schreiber to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FK TEPLICE STARS's zone, Paavo Burgdorf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Pánek came out of the goal and Paavo Burgdorf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, Dominik Klemt notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FK TEPLICE STARS's Alex Pánek. Alex Pánek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Hannover Reds getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Albert Kiefer hit a great ball. Alex Pánek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paavo Burgdorf in the 24th minute. Sol Harnack hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. FK TEPLICE STARS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Paavo Burgdorf 29 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. 31 minutes into the match, FK TEPLICE STARS's goalkeeper Alex Pánek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jon Bak. Ladislav Bernard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Jon Bak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hannover Reds's supporters rose to their feet, but Jon Bak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Pánek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, FK TEPLICE STARS's Jiří Mertlík got a free kick in the 37th minute. Hermann Zach took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Pánek. Alex Pánek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Ladislav Bernard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Hartmut Klein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Immanuel Baumann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes FK TEPLICE STARS got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Hoffman. In the 58th minute Hermann Zach suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. 58 minutes into the game, Josef Berka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK TEPLICE STARS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hannover Reds the free kick. Hannover Reds made a substitution. Ratko Heesen replaced Hermann Zach. Josef Berka hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Dominik Klemt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Pánek having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Immanuel Baumann in the 65th minute of play forced FK TEPLICE STARS's goalkeeper Alex Pánek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FK TEPLICE STARS's Alex Pánek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Bak in the 66th minute of play. Alex Pánek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Immanuel Baumann, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Alex Pánek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paavo Burgdorf in the 72nd minute of the match. During the 77th minute of the match Vlastimil Schreiber completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Vlastimil Schreiber a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Hannover Reds booed when FK TEPLICE STARS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlastimil Schreiber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Pánek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paavo Burgdorf went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 82nd minute, Ratko Heesen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Pánek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paavo Burgdorf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paavo Burgdorf scored 8-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Pánek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Hannover Reds fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Hannover Reds's Paavo Burgdorf looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hannover Reds fully deserved thier win.
