Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edson Nascimento got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gremio Viana's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Brian Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time C.A Gryffindor's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Brian Montenegro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gremio Viana's João Carvalhais did a great save. João Carvalhais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Montenegro in the 8th minute of play. João Carvalhais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vedillo Quijano, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. João Carvalhais came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A Gryffindor's Vedillo Quijano. But to his dismay, Vedillo Quijano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. C.A Gryffindor's Sarracino Marsano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hildeberto Póvoas in the 30 minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, Denílson Lopes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Carvalhais. Gremio Viana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denílson Lopes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Gremio Viana's Alexandre Onofre managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sarracino Marsano in the 36 minute of the game. A throw-in in the 37th minute of the game was made by Vedillo Quijano with Denílson Lopes as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The throw-in from Pedro Espírito Santo in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.A Gryffindor's Denílson Lopes. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gremio Viana's goalkeeper João Carvalhais, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson Lopes in the 47th minute of play forced Gremio Viana's goalkeeper João Carvalhais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brian Montenegro to strike the kick off in the second half. Brian Montenegro took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Carvalhais. João Carvalhais dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 55th match minute, Gremio Viana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Påk to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the game, Alexandre Onofre threw the ball into play from the sideline. C.A Gryffindor's Sarracino Marsano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, C.A Gryffindor's Sarracino Marsano got a free kick in the 61st minute. The supporters of Gremio Viana booed when C.A Gryffindor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomé de Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lourenço Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 63rd minute Lourenço Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Corinth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Carvalhais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Montenegro in the 65th minute of the match. João Carvalhais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 minutes, Adalberto Amaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gremio Viana and the C.A Gryffindor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adalberto Amaro kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Vedillo Quijano managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A Gryffindor's supporters rose to their feet, but Vedillo Quijano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Carvalhais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the game, C.A Gryffindor's Dennis Bergkamp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Carvalhais made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. João Carvalhais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Bergkamp in the 81st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dennis Bergkamp in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Carvalhais prevented the ball from getting in the gole. C.A Gryffindor were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Gremio Viana's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vedillo Quijano took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Vedillo Quijano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this João Carvalhais quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match was over C.A Gryffindor could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gremio Viana throughout the match.
