In the 5th minute Nereo Norino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredric Hansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fredric Hansson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fredric Hansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Norino in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Clint Schembri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Lehior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Lehior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard Degabriele in the 20th minute of play. Candido Lehior made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vincent Callus in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Meerkats FC's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Etxahun came free, but Fredric Hansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carolo Muc in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fredric Hansson saved Meerkats FC from getting behind. Carolo Muc scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fredric Hansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Albano Pueblo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bairoletto FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Carolo Muc struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Fredric Hansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bairoletto FC. 41 minutes into the match, Carolo Muc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fredric Hansson. Meerkats FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carolo Muc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Fredric Hansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Norino in the 45th minute of the match. The Meerkats FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bairoletto FC were winning 0-4.

52 minutes into the game, Meerkats FC's Bernard Degabriele nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Candido Lehior made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. If Amadeo Darmanin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Candido Lehior showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Callus, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Meerkats FC's goalkeeper Fredric Hansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justo Etxahun. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Justo Etxahun took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Fredric Hansson to make any attempt to save it. Fredric Hansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Norino, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute of the game, Bernard Degabriele landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Albano Pueblo fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bairoletto FC's protests and gave Albano Pueblo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bairoletto FC's Albano Pueblo got a free kick in the 71st minute. Bairoletto FC's Candido Lehior played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clint Schembri in the 79th minute of play. Fredric Hansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carolo Muc in the 82nd minute. Bernard Degabriele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Meerkats FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Bernard Degabriele hit a great ball. Fredric Hansson made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Carolo Muc sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute, Simon Richie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernard Degabriele in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Candido Lehior saved Bairoletto FC from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bairoletto FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
