The audience was convinced that Carlos Teves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zdzislaw Jenkot was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bangla Desh Fobal Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcial Abaunza was slow to take the kick. During this time La Guardia Imperial's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Bangla Desh Fobal Club's Enrique Veremundo got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Carlos Teves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Guardia Imperial fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Roberto Lewandowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Atilano Esiquio. That made the score 1-3 in the 21 minute of play. If Carlos Teves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Veremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Esiquio having to interfere. Zdzislaw Jenkot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Abaunza in the 40th minute of the match. Zdzislaw Jenkot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Sayveon in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, La Guardia Imperial's Carlos Teves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zdzislaw Jenkot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrique Veremundo made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, La Guardia Imperial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Romano to maneuver through the defense. When Florencio Arnas came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Bangla Desh Fobal Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Arnas couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute, Francisco Sayveon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute, Carlos Teves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zdzislaw Jenkot was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Zdzislaw Jenkot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Teves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th match minute, Bangla Desh Fobal Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Veremundo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Bangla Desh Fobal Club getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Florencio Arnas hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Teves in the 75th minute of play forced Bangla Desh Fobal Club's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Jenkot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Teves might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zdzislaw Jenkot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Teves ran back to his position shaking his head. Zdzislaw Jenkot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Teves in the 78th minute of the match. Francisco Sayveon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Zdzislaw Jenkot made a huge save. When the match was over La Guardia Imperial could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bangla Desh Fobal Club throughout the match.
