An unexpectedly hard shot by Leendert Looze in the 7th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Estevez in the 8th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Arnau in the 11th minute of play. Wilfredo Quinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leendert Looze in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Leones FC booed when Los Golosos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Fortun didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes Los Golosos got a freekick which was hit by Christian Herrera. Aurelio Valeriani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Asier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Estevez in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Arnau in the 29th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Leendert Looze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute Aquilino Arnau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Javier Richie. Leopoldo Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Estevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 minutes of play, Los Golosos's Nicolas Estevez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Lastur was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 45 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Bizi. A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Amado Jordy hit a great ball. Denis Intxixu, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

51 minutes into the match, Aquilino Arnau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Lastur. Leones FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquilino Arnau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 54th minute, Maximo Orain reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leopoldo Lastur. The goal made the score 0-3. In the 57th minute of the match Nicolas Bizi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aurelio Valeriani skillfully saved the ball. Nicolas Bizi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelio Valeriani having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Aquilino Arnau kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leopoldo Lastur. That made the score 0-4 in the 63 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Los Golosos's zone, Martin Asier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Valeriani came out of the goal and Martin Asier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurelio Valeriani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Quinto in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Leendert Looze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nicolas Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopoldo Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Arnau, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The supporters of Los Golosos booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Jordy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 minutes Los Golosos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jeremias Cisco who took care of the corner kick. Jeremias Cisco made a great header on Leones FC's corner, it was just that Los Golosos's Aurelio Valeriani managed to reach the ball for a save. Leopoldo Lastur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leendert Looze in the 89th minute. Los Golosos played a much better game than Leones FC and deserved their victory. The Leones FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
