The supporters of 1989 Blxsk booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Firmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Quinto to maneuver through the defense. Leopoldo Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Godoy in the 12th minute of the match. Eriberto Honesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Asier, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th play minute Martin Asier came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eriberto Honesto. 1-0. After 18 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Quinto. Leopoldo Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Ostargi in the 32nd minute of play. After 37 minutes, Miguel Godoy made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Leopoldo Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Godoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Godoy in the 45th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Guo Xi Chao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Godoy was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Leones FC's Wilfredo Quinto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eriberto Honesto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 57 minutes into the match, 1989 Blxsk's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Quinto came free, but Eriberto Honesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eriberto Honesto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Asier went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 62nd minute, Mariano Peyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Javier Richie hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur got control of the ball when Desiderio Ostargi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leopoldo Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Millano in the 71st minute of the match. If Nicolas Bizi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 minutes, Melchor Dorio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 1989 Blxsk and the Leones FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th minute, Melchor Dorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1989 Blxsk's Luke De Kelper was substituted for Marcos Ekhi. After a rather tough play, 1989 Blxsk's Melchor Dorio got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute of the match Jeremias Cisco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eriberto Honesto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leopoldo Lastur was a little too slow when Desiderio Ostargi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 3-2. Leopoldo Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Tiniebra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Lastur came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by 1989 Blxsk's Desiderio Ostargi. But to his dismay, Desiderio Ostargi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Leopoldo Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Tiniebra, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 1989 Blxsk's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Leones FC had won, even though 1989 Blxsk had held more of the ball.
