After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Lyle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stefan Lyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Balazs Lajos made a precise shot to the right of Stefan Lyle. FC Thierachern's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 33rd minute, Szekeres Tamas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lorenzo Hagenbuch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Lorenzo Hagenbuch tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 47 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Major Barna. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lorenzo Hagenbuch made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, FC Thierachern's Amado Makaus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 55 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Hagenbuch came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pancho Jeanneret during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pancho Jeanneret kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. FC Thierachern made a substitution. Marc Berthod replaced Pancho Jeanneret. FC Thierachern's Yannick Herzog was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Hungary booed when FC Thierachern was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Ghițescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Hagenbuch, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. FC Thierachern's Stefan Lyle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save FC Thierachern from getting a goal against them. The supporters of FC Thierachern booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. FC Thierachern were victorious despite being under pressure from Hungary for much of the match.
