When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Gerd Oolo took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Maxime Durand to make any attempt to save it. Jean Bombelles made in the 22nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Robert Chapuis however managed to control. Thanks to some nice moves Gerd Oolo could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Maxime Durand however easily saved by the left post. Gerd Oolo came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maxime Durand could save by the left post. The referee ignored France's protests and gave Robert Chapuis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th minute, Robert Chapuis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 49 minutes, Gerd Oolo took a quick shot and it went in 8-0 without a chance for Maxime Durand to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerd Oolo was the one to do the kick off.
