Robert Ochabski was slow to take the kick. During this time LAMUSY's players had a chance to rest. Wieslaw Podowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 8th minute of the match. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wieslaw Podowski having to interfere. In the 16th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wieslaw Podowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Major Barna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wieslaw Podowski. LAMUSY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Major Barna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wieslaw Podowski having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 23rd minute of play forced LAMUSY's goalkeeper Wieslaw Podowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wieslaw Podowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Wieslaw Podowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Antal Valentin made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that LAMUSY's Wieslaw Podowski managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Major Barna put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Wieslaw Podowski. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paquito Franco in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. Paquito Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. The supporters of Hungary booed when LAMUSY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paquito Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Major Barna scored 0-4 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wieslaw Podowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57th minute, Hungary's Major Barna dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. LAMUSY's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Antal Valentin scored to the left of an out of position Wieslaw Podowski, making the score, 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hegedus Henrik got free with Wieslaw Podowski in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robert Ochabski hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Hungary's Major Barna dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. The supporters of LAMUSY booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Katona Janos didn't get a good kick on the ball. LAMUSY's Wieslaw Podowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save LAMUSY from getting a goal against them. Bogumil Kowalski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Hungary's Takacs Tibor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wieslaw Podowski. That made the score 0-8 after 83 minutes of play. In the 86th minute Paquito Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wieslaw Podowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 88th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Takacs Tibor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wieslaw Podowski was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 90th minute, Boros Benedek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than LAMUSY throughout the match.
