When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Horaţiu Babarada sped through Netherlands's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. Du Ning Zhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Eikelkamp in the 18th minute of the match. When Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★'s Augustin Herlea was substituted for Fabio Jaccarini. In the 71st minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Du Ning Zhi, passed just outside the right post. Netherlands's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★ had won, even though Netherlands had held more of the ball.
