The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, B O B I S A's goal looked a bit too open when Hegedus Henrik came free, but Ralph Sanger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Hungary's Hegedus Henrik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ralph Sanger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ralph Sanger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvio Pfeifer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Major Barna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ralph Sanger having to make a save. Roth Winiker's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roth Winiker helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, one of B O B I S A:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for B O B I S A. Ralph Sanger had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Antal Valentin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 31st minute Silvio Pfeifer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th match minute, B O B I S A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nathaniel Ochsner to maneuver through the defense. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 40th minute of play forced B O B I S A's goalkeeper Ralph Sanger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute B O B I S A were awarded a corner. Nathaniel Ochsner went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 49th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. B O B I S A's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind B O B I S A's goalkeeper Ralph Sanger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Silvio Pfeifer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Silvio Pfeifer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glen Stäuble in the 61st minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Ralph Sanger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. In the 75th minute, Hungary's Major Barna dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Ralph Sanger in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nathaniel Ochsner, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christophe Mehri in the 93rd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christophe Mehri took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 95th minute, Bakos Endre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The B O B I S A fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
