Croatia's Ilija Skugor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damien Schimmel in the 29th minute of play. Zijdewind SC's Luuk Meppelink played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Bosak in the 32nd minute of play. Croatia's Ilija Skugor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Croatia from getting a goal against them. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damien Schimmel to strike the kick off in the second half. Martin Bosak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luuk Meppelink having to interfere. Patrik Terzic hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Damien Schimmel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Damien Schimmel came free, but Ilija Skugor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdi Dekens, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute Ferdi Dekens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilija Skugor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Zijdewind SC's Ferdi Dekens in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 66 minutes of play, Zijdewind SC's Gerard Kok made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ilija Skugor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ilija Skugor came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Zijdewind SC's Damien Schimmel. But to his dismay, Damien Schimmel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. If Gerard Kok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Zijdewind SC's goal looked a bit too open when Damir Pongrac came free, but Luuk Meppelink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luuk Meppelink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Mauzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd match minute, Zijdewind SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bram Hegeman to maneuver through the defense. Neven Culina kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Croatia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
