Kubat Aydınoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 17 minutes into the match, Giresun United F.K ©'s goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Kubat Aydınoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Naci Tuncel sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kubat Aydınoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Giresun United F.K ©'s goalkeeper Kubat Aydınoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Georg Bringtoft in the 24th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georg Bringtoft in the 51st minute of play. Naci Tuncel struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Giresun United F.K ©. In the 54th minute of the match Giresun United F.K © got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Naci Tuncel ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alemdar Oykan made a great header on Giresun United F.K ©'s corner, it was just that Hungary's Fodor Daniel managed to reach the ball for a save.
