Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Mai Li Cheng sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute, True storY's Mai Li Cheng ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Pahom Nikiforov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 22nd minute of the match. Pahom Nikiforov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. A hard shot 30 in the game by Mai Li Cheng from a close distance when the talented Arnout Reekers managed to make a qualified save. Netherlands's players were relieved. In the 33rd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Lars Meesters was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 35th minute, Wim Wilmes made a precise shot to the right of Pahom Nikiforov. True storY's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 38th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a good free kick, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for True storY. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pahom Nikiforov. With a little luck, True storY's Pahom Nikiforov got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 57th minute of play forced True storY's goalkeeper Pahom Nikiforov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pahom Nikiforov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 58th minute of play. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mai Li Cheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. True storY's Vyacheslav Gruler was substituted for Emil Kostadinov. In the 69th minute True storY were awarded a corner. Maadan Lăcătuș went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 71st match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wim Wilmes to maneuver through the defense.
