Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vinícius Junior started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Gremio Viana's Samuel Fiúza got control of the ball when Neycho Mudrov tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Capivara FC's zone, Domingos Lencastre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Péter Pálffy came out of the goal and Domingos Lencastre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Samuel Fiúza successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 10 minutes into the game, Vinícius Junior recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Samuel Fiúza. Vinícius Junior showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Vinícius Junior who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Samuel Fiúza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Samuel Fiúza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manoel Garrincha, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 23rd minute Domingos Lencastre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Péter Pálffy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Capivara FC's Vinícius Junior slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Samuel Fiúza. That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gremio Viana's goalkeeper Samuel Fiúza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 33rdth minute of the game Domingos Lencastre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capivara FC's Péter Pálffy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Tony Påk charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tony Påk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes Gremio Viana got a freekick which was hit by Tony Påk. In the 64th minute of the game Bogumil Andrzejewski made a throw-in which Doriva Tavares played forward. Samuel Fiúza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinícius Junior, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Capivara FC's goalkeeper Péter Pálffy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingos Lencastre. Samuel Fiúza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Junior in the 68th minute of play. Gremio Viana's Domingos Lencastre got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Capivara FC's João Francisco Mota was substituted for Zhang Chen. After 73 minutes, Adalberto Leite mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gremio Viana and the Capivara FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 played minutes Gremio Viana got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Leite. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingos Lencastre got free with Péter Pálffy in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gremio Viana's Samuel Fiúza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Tavares in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute, Manoel Garrincha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Fiúza was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Gremio Viana made a substitution. Joaquim Paredes replaced Domingos Lencastre. 89 minutes into the match, Gremio Viana's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Junior came free, but Samuel Fiúza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manoel Garrincha in the 93rd minute of play forced Gremio Viana's goalkeeper Samuel Fiúza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Vinícius Junior ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Fiúza was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gremio Viana players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Capivara FC.
