MARTINETA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Doriva Tavares scored to the left of an out of position Bartolo Beliran, making the score, 1-0. Bartolo Beliran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhang Chen, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Péter Pálffy came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by MARTINETA's Lv Qiang Xiao. But to his dismay, Lv Qiang Xiao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Dominik Lanckneus made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by MARTINETA's Rafal Kaszubowski. The attack was good, but when Albino Eliu in the 80th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marian Tuliszewski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MARTINETA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marian Tuliszewski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 94th minute, Lv Qiang Xiao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched MARTINETA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
