Ricardinho Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Péter Pálffy having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Capivara FC's Zhang Chen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 袁渊斌 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinícius Junior in the 8th minute of play forced Del Materno Vengo's goalkeeper 袁渊斌 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Vinícius Junior notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Del Materno Vengo's 袁渊斌. 袁渊斌 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 17 minutes into the match, Capivara FC's goalkeeper Péter Pálffy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Amaya. In the 18th minute Del Materno Vengo were awarded a corner. Gabriel Amaya went to the cornerflag to take it. 袁渊斌 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doriva Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Capivara FC's Péter Pálffy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferran Torres in the 25th minute of play. Vinícius Junior fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 袁渊斌 having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Amaya got free with Péter Pálffy in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Vinícius Junior sped through Del Materno Vengo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of 袁渊斌. In the 34th minute, Del Materno Vengo's Ricardinho Paranaense ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Péter Pálffy. Péter Pálffy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 38th minute Ricardinho Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Péter Pálffy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferran Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vinícius Junior made a kick off. Péter Pálffy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Paranaense in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Neycho Mudrov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 袁渊斌 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Doriva Tavares notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Del Materno Vengo's 袁渊斌. 袁渊斌 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Péter Pálffy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferran Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Vinícius Junior could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but 袁渊斌 made a huge save. Xabi Alonso kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Vinícius Junior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 袁渊斌 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Del Materno Vengo's Xabi Alonso got a free kick in the 74th minute. 袁渊斌 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doriva Tavares in the 83rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Neycho Mudrov took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for 袁渊斌 to make any attempt to save it. In the 89th minute, Manoel Garrincha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 袁渊斌. The goal made the score 2-5. If João Francisco Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Capivara FC's Vinícius Junior got a free kick in the 95th minute. After 97 minutes, Domingos Aires made it 3-5 with a short kick to the right side. Capivara FC's Péter Pálffy tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Capivara FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
