Al-Femur FC's Kilian Mbappè got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Wilson Amorim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kilian Mbappè recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Antony Brouillet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. Kilian Mbappè sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hansjörg Wastl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Al-Femur FC's Kilian Mbappè ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, Al-Femur FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Hansjörg Wastl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kilian Mbappè scored 3-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute, Pang Xing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hansjörg Wastl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 38 minutes, Pang Xing mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Al-Femur FC and the Portugal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Al-Femur FC's zone, Daniel Pimentel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hansjörg Wastl came out of the goal and Daniel Pimentel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
The wind increased when Román Riquelme made the kick off in the second half. Hansjörg Wastl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Graciano Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hansjörg Wastl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Caetano Moreira made a precise shot to the right of Hansjörg Wastl. Al-Femur FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. During the 67th minute of the match Pang Xing completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pang Xing a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. After a rather tough play, Al-Femur FC's Pang Xing got a free kick in the 68th minute. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 97 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Bastos. Al-Femur FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
