An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Königs in the 5th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Remigio came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Arnout Reekers managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when CUNTIS ATHLETIC CLUB's Cristian Frantzes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Teofilo Gaitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 11th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, David Eikelkamp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teofilo Gaitan. CUNTIS ATHLETIC CLUB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Eikelkamp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 23rd minute of play forced CUNTIS ATHLETIC CLUB's goalkeeper Teofilo Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 24th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that CUNTIS ATHLETIC CLUB's Teofilo Gaitan managed to reach the ball for a save. Teofilo Gaitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 25th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Frantzes, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Teofilo Gaitan in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Frantzes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teofilo Gaitan made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Gaitan having to interfere. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Remigio, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Teofilo Gaitan. Mathijn Doctor hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
