Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got the match started through his kick off. Eray Çetinoz hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7thth minute of the game Lars Meesters who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bermendespor's Melih Cevdet İlsev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Hayri Taştan sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bermendespor's goalkeeper Melih Cevdet İlsev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's David Eikelkamp got a free kick in the 14th minute. David Eikelkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Melih Cevdet İlsev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melih Cevdet İlsev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Meesters to maneuver through the defense. Melih Cevdet İlsev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 37th minute of play. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melih Cevdet İlsev. Bermendespor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gijsbert ter Kruimer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.

In the 50th minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Melih Cevdet İlsev saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Bermendespor getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Bedrettin Bayındır hit a great ball. After 62 played minutes Bermendespor got a freekick which was hit by Atabek Bayülgen. After having played for 63 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bermendespor's Melih Cevdet İlsev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 66th minute of play. After 67 minutes Bermendespor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Melih Cevdet İlsev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayri Taştan in the 73rd minute of play. Wim Wilmes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melih Cevdet İlsev having to make a save. In the 77th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Melih Cevdet İlsev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Onur Ali Tulun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaaf Groeneveldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melih Cevdet İlsev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran back to his position shaking his head. Despite being the better team, Netherlands failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
