The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Constantin Potocianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valerio Spadoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruperto Modestio kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valerio Spadoni got free with Constantin Potocianu in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Usain Bolt came free, but Ariel Mourelatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantin Potocianu made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Mario Alberto Abascal sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valerio Spadoni in the 32nd minute of play forced Mapovihesa FC's goalkeeper Constantin Potocianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Wang Hai in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mapovihesa FC's Rafael Figueroa. In the 40th minute Ruperto Modestio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantin Potocianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amboy FC were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Mapovihesa FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wang Hai took the corner. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Usain Bolt to make the kick off. Constantin Potocianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Alberto Abascal in the 54th minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Mario Alberto Abascal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Constantin Potocianu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Constantin Potocianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Modestio in the 60th minute of the match. Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Usain Bolt in the 63rd minute of play. In the 69th match minute, Amboy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shi Sha Quan to maneuver through the defense. Mapovihesa FC's Raimundo Erramu was substituted for Usain Bolt. Amboy FC's Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán was substituted for Valerio Spadoni. Mapovihesa FC's Marcial Iratze was substituted for Telis Lianos. Mapovihesa FC made a substitution. Al Wieczorek replaced Álvaro Prata. Shi Sha Quan kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Erramu in the 72nd minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Constantin Potocianu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Ariel Mourelatos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Erramu, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Constantin Potocianu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amboy FC. In the 88th minute Raimundo Erramu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Mourelatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 played minutes Mapovihesa FC got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Harri. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantin Potocianu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wang Hai ran over to the corner to take the kick. Wang Hai made a great header on Amboy FC's corner, it was just that Mapovihesa FC's Constantin Potocianu managed to reach the ball for a save.
