Agustín Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Onofre in the 4th minute of play. Vytautas Gudonis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Petersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Gilberto Onofre took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agustín Rossi. Agustín Rossi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Rebelution's Agustín Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Onofre in the 11th minute of play. Vytautas Gudonis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliver Petersson went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 15th minute of the match, Oliver Petersson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vytautas Gudonis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Petersson in the 18th minute of play forced Monster Proyect's goalkeeper Vytautas Gudonis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliver Petersson might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vytautas Gudonis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliver Petersson ran back to his position shaking his head. 20 minutes into the match, Monster Proyect's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Petersson came free, but Vytautas Gudonis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Rebelution got a freekick which was hit by Americo Frascuelo. The supporters of Monster Proyect booed when Rebelution was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Ortle didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 played minutes Jeronimo Aztore shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Rebelution's Agustín Rossi to catch but Jeronimo Aztore was lucky. It became 1-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Oliver Petersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vytautas Gudonis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Agustín Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Seme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes of play, Rebelution's Oliver Petersson made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vytautas Gudonis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vytautas Gudonis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliver Petersson went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 47th minute Gilberto Onofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Jeronimo Aztore was slow to take the kick. During this time Monster Proyect's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Jeronimo Aztore almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rebelution's Agustín Rossi did a great save. 57 minutes in the game, Gilberto Onofre dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Vytautas Gudonis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliver Petersson went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Vytautas Gudonis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliver Petersson's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Rebelution made a substitution. The referee showed Tadeo Johans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After taking down the ball on Monster Proyect's corner Cotera Nevares fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Agustín Rossi quite easily take care of the ball.
