An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Seme in the 23rd minute of play forced Las Palmas's goalkeeper René Stam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Onofre in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck René Stam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute Darío Graabirk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vytautas Gudonis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Las Palmas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Quintun to maneuver through the defense. René Stam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Onofre's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, Monster Proyect's goalkeeper Vytautas Gudonis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 秦西星. Tadeo Seme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without René Stam having to interfere. Vytautas Gudonis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darío Graabirk in the 39th minute of the match. Vytautas Gudonis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darío Graabirk, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After some careless play in the Las Palmas defense, Tadeo Seme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of René Stam. The Las Palmas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that René Stam should have stopped the shot. Las Palmas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
