Victor Peyo took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Evarado. Samuel Evarado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Vampiros Aztecas getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Epifanio Guillerme hit a great ball. Emiliano Oliverios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Locaio in the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Epifanio Guillerme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Evarado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 30 played minutes Hermosillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Primeiro. 33 minutes into the match, Hermosillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Guillerme came free, but Samuel Evarado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Hermosillo FC booed when Vampiros Aztecas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Jacob didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Vampiros Aztecas's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Laurentzi came free, but Emiliano Oliverios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Evarado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roberto Balendin went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Silvestre Ostots recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Epifanio Guillerme to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Epifanio Guillerme took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Samuel Evarado to make any attempt to save it. Samuel Evarado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Guillerme, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Vampiros Aztecas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joakim Rhinow in the 60th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Hermosillo FC's goalie and right to Anselmo Danel. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Hermosillo FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Joakim Rhinow came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Vampiros Aztecas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joakim Rhinow couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victor Peyo during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hermosillo FC's Samuel Evarado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Hermosillo FC from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, Flavio Locaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
