In the 14th minute, Eugenio Chayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th match minute, Cavaliers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Chayo to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the game, Mauricio Damario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ORIZABA F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cavaliers FC the free kick. Eugenio Honrio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcelino Eliazar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind ORIZABA F.C.'s goalkeeper Eugenio Honrio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ORIZABA F.C.'s Eugenio Honrio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save ORIZABA F.C. from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the game, Leonides Urtungo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cavaliers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ORIZABA F.C. the free kick. After 37 minutes of play, Cavaliers FC's Marcelino Eliazar made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugenio Honrio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eugenio Chayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Honrio having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Cavaliers FC's Marcelino Eliazar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Marcelino Eliazar might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugenio Honrio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelino Eliazar ran back to his position shaking his head. 53 minutes into the match, ORIZABA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Eliazar came free, but Eugenio Honrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Honrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Eliazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 61 minutes on the clock, Hugo Gines commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Cavaliers FC's Higinio Eate was substituted for Marcelino Eliazar. In a very dangerous position, a player in ORIZABA F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! Eugenio Honrio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Higinio Eate went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Cavaliers FC's Gerardo Cuenca was substituted for Serafin Charro. Mauricio Damario made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Cavaliers FC's Julio Quintun. After 79 minutes of play, Cavaliers FC's Higinio Eate made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugenio Honrio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eugenio Honrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Eate in the 83rd minute of the match. After 84 played minutes ORIZABA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Damario. Eugenio Honrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Eate in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Higinio Eate ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio Honrio was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. In the 94th match minute, ORIZABA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Rodriguez to maneuver through the defense. Eugenio Chayo's late challenge caught a ORIZABA F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugenio Chayo helped the player get up and apologised. Eugenio Chayo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
