The referee ignored Hermosillo FC's protests and gave Antony Carmine a yellow card for diving instead. Santos Veto hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Amador Crispo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fashions del Averno's supporters rose to their feet, but Amador Crispo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Evarado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Fashions del Averno's Maximiliano Teyo got a free kick in the 16th minute. With a little luck, Hermosillo FC's Samuel Evarado got control of the ball when Hipolito Dalmai tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Adrio in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albino Ibon saved Fashions del Averno from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Libertad got free with Samuel Evarado in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Samuel Evarado was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Christian Libertad capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christian Libertad really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The supporters of Hermosillo FC booed when Fashions del Averno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Libertad didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 played minutes Hermosillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Veto. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santos Veto during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hermosillo FC's Santos Veto got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Evarado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 45th minute, Christian Libertad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Evarado was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 47 played minutes Fashions del Averno got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Gaztea. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Flavio Locaio was the one to do the kick off. Albino Ibon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Locaio in the 54th minute of the match. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hermosillo FC's goalkeeper Samuel Evarado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Albino Ibon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Locaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Evarado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Libertad in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fashions del Averno's Raimundo Mederi got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Albino Ibon made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Flavio Locaio sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Fashions del Averno getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Anacleto Duardo hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Amador Crispo made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Evarado. Hermosillo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 89th match minute, Fashions del Averno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Libertad to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Fashions del Averno's Albino Ibon got control of the ball when Flavio Locaio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amador Crispo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Samuel Evarado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Gaitan during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hermosillo FC's Samuel Evarado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Crispo in the 98th minute of play. Amador Crispo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fashions del Averno's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
