In the 3rd match minute, Granadero10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laerte Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. Granadero10's Tana Rede was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 7th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vítor Antunes was slow to take the kick. During this time Granadero10's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Granadero10's Beniamin Madajczyk to fire away a dangerous shot which Loramendi Cabarcos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 21st minute of the match, Tana Rede tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Loramendi Cabarcos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's goalkeeper Loramendi Cabarcos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tana Rede in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Loramendi Cabarcos saved E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO from getting behind. Iwo Kaparelis kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's Izel Carrion got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfredinho Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neymar Junior, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 44thth minute of the game Tana Rede who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's Loramendi Cabarcos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 45 minutes E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vítor Antunes who took care of the corner kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

56 minutes into the match, Granadero10's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Sarmento came free, but Alfredinho Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute of the match Granadero10 got a corner. E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vítor Antunes ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Tana Rede got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Loramendi Cabarcos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 64 minutes into the match, E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's goal looked a bit too open when Tana Rede came free, but Loramendi Cabarcos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Granadero10's corner Laerte Soeiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Loramendi Cabarcos quite easily take care of the ball. If Tana Rede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Granadero10 fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Granadero10's Tana Rede looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Laerte Soeiro made in the 72nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Emerson Velasco. The audience was convinced that Tana Rede's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Loramendi Cabarcos was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Granadero10 made a substitution. Rubens Favoretto replaced Vítor Antunes. Granadero10's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tana Rede in the 76th minute. Rubens Favoretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Granadero10 made a substitution. Erick Cavero replaced Laerte Soeiro. After 81 played minutes Granadero10 got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Ioritz. Loramendi Cabarcos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tana Rede in the 89th minute of play. After some careless play in the E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO defense, Tana Rede kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loramendi Cabarcos. The E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loramendi Cabarcos should have stopped the shot. Granadero10 were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tana Rede took the corner. The corner ended in Tana Rede almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's Loramendi Cabarcos did a great save. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Granadero10 were victorious despite being under pressure from E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO for much of the match.
