Adriano van Beek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiago Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of São Paulo F.C. booed when ✪ XV de Umarizal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Yaya Sow cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Domingo Bulnes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano van Beek in the 51st minute of play forced São Paulo F.C.'s goalkeeper Tiago Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Orlando Asteri came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the ✪ XV de Umarizal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Asteri couldn't finish the play. Tiago Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano van Beek in the 60th minute of play. Adriano van Beek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiago Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Domingo Bulnes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save ✪ XV de Umarizal from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute Adriano van Beek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Régis Madureira was substituted for Orlando Asteri. ✪ XV de Umarizal made a substitution. Yago Leite hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 88 played minutes São Paulo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Yago Leite. 89 minutes into the match, São Paulo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro Ribeiro came free, but Tiago Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
