Harold Tronconi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Grêmio RK75 were awarded a corner. Markus Paul Hattermann went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Grêmio RK75's corner Markus Paul Hattermann fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rodolfo Salgado quite easily take care of the ball. TAQUARI FC's Rodolfo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harold Tronconi in the 31st minute of play. Rodolfo Salgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harold Tronconi in the 35th minute. Tilemachos Fragopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 40 played minutes Grêmio RK75 got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Abraão. 43 minutes into the match, Grêmio RK75's goal looked a bit too open when Wilton Vale came free, but João Francisco Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harold Tronconi was the one to do the kick off. Rodolfo Salgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Wilton Vale struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. In the 90th match minute, TAQUARI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernani Souto to maneuver through the defense. TAQUARI FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
