Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Paulo Gaizkine came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten. But to his dismay, Deilmison van Basten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 5th minute, Feng Ting Chong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Catugi FC's Paulo Gaizkine got control of the ball when Feng Ting Chong tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute Walmir Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Catugi FC defense, Deilmison van Basten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Gaizkine. The Catugi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Gaizkine should have stopped the shot. In the 24th match minute, Catugi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the game, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Gaizkine made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Feng Ting Chong's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Paulo Gaizkine firmly grabbed it by the left post. Paulo Gaizkine made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feng Ting Chong in the 30th minute. Rodriguinho Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmir Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 37 minutes into the match, Catugi FC's goalkeeper Paulo Gaizkine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deilmison van Basten. In the 41st minute, Deilmison van Basten made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Gaizkine. Catugi FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 44 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Pombal came free, but Rodriguinho Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Alberto Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Catugi FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 57th match minute, Catugi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edson Couto to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feng Ting Chong in the 58th minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Paulo Gaizkine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Feng Ting Chong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Gaizkine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Catugi FC's Edson Couto got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 61 played minutes Catugi FC got a freekick which was hit by Edson Couto. Paulo Gaizkine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin van Persie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson Magalhães in the 66th minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Paulo Gaizkine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deilmison van Basten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Gaizkine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. If Deilmison van Basten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmir Pombal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodriguinho Sousa having to make a save. Paulo Gaizkine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Magalhães in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo de Souza in the 80th minute of play forced ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 played minutes Catugi FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Pimenta. Catugi FC's Paulo Gaizkine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Denílson Magalhães who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catugi FC's Paulo Gaizkine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Unax Mudarra kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Catugi FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ATHLETICO PRaiano.
